It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of the Rev Dr James Elias, who passed away today, 10 September 2026. The Rev Dr Elias was a Minister Emeritus residing within the Presbytery of eThekwini.
Details regarding the funeral and other arrangements will be communicated in due course.
As we mourn the loss of our fellow servant of Christ, we ask that you kindly keep the Elias family, his loved ones, the Presbytery of eThekwini, and the entire UPCSA family in your prayers during this difficult and sorrowful time.
May the Lord grant them strength, comfort and peace, and may the assurance of the resurrection sustain us all.
