Devotion – Monday, 29 March 2021, by Rev Craig Morrison

Good morning friends and family, a word for today:
*Psalm 18: 28*
“You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.”

– The Lord keeps our ‘spark of hope’ alive within us. This is the work of the Holy Spirit

– It is never God’s desire for us to be overwhelmed by darkness

– Jesus comes to turn our darknesses into light. Jesus is the Light

– With the Lord in our lives, there is always light and it overcomes darkness

– Let your light shine before the people of the community

Lord Jesus, thank you that you are the one who keeps the light within my soul shining.
We have hope and confidence because you are with us, and no discouragement will overcome or overwhelm us. Help us to trust in you; knowing that you will bring about only our good. You are good. Enable us to trust in your goodness, through your Son our saviour, Jesus Christ. We pray for all who suffer, especially through COVID19 and we ask your healing touch; and for all who face struggles of life.
Have a great week, Saints.
