A Message of Consolation to the Mchulu Family and the Church in Zambia
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It is with deep sorrow that we have received the news of the sudden passing of our colleague, friend, and minister, the Reverend Alan Mchulu. Death often comes unexpectedly to us all. Yet, only a week ago, during our Easter celebrations, we were reminded of the profound truth that death does not have the final word—God does.
My heartfelt prayer for the Mchulu family and for the Church in Zambia is that you may find comfort in cherishing the precious memories of Rev Mchulu’s life: as a loving father to his children and a husband to his wife, a faithful minister of the Gospel, and a caring pastor to those he shepherded. May these memories bring healing and strength to our broken hearts as we grieve this sudden loss of a friend, a father, a husband, and a pastor.
May we gather in great numbers on Tuesday, 14th April at Kabwata Presbyterian Church, to accord Rev Alan Mchulu a dignified and honourable farewell. I prayerfully hope to be with you at the funeral service on that day, the Lord willing.
