Prayer for Illumination

  1. As we prepare to hear God’s Word, let us ask him to Illuminate his Scriptures to us”. Let’s pray:
Lord, You have said in: Isaiah 55: Verse 11:
So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
We are assembled in this sanctuary, our homes or wherever else we are listening from, to feed from your word. On this first Sunday of the New Year 2025, as we celebrate Epiphany, we pray that you calm and open the ears of our hearts, help us stay focused, and hear you Speak Father. Speak through your servant and by Your authority, let your word not return to you empty. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Our sister, Nomsa will read for us:

BEQUESTS

One of the ways to support the Church is to consider leaving a bequest to the Church. 🙏🏽
