CWM through Social Justice (Doing mission from the margins with the margins) is conducting a series of webinars that will subsequently lead to workshops/training sessions on Church and Racism. (The other webinar on Gender and Spirituality would be communicated shortly)
However, for now, we are sending an invitation to the Church and Racism webinar (1 and 2). The Zoom link would follow. Please distribute this invitation to as many people as you can within your network.
The purpose(s) of these webinars:
- Is to accommodate as many people as possible who would not be accommodated in the face-to-face workshop/training session:
- Secondly to get a wider understanding of racial discourse and tension from a different context
- Start a conversation within the CWM network on the issues of racism
- To share experiences and stories in a guided conversation
