UPCSA – Vacancy: Ministry Secretary

The General Assembly (GA) Church Office & Human Resources Committee (COHRC), in liaison with the GA Ministry Committee, is earnestly seeking the right person to serve as Ministry Secretary to the UPCSA. This is a crucial position with significant responsibilities for selecting, training, and preparing our students for the ministry. It requires a person with understanding and experience in ministry in the UPCSA, appropriate post-graduate qualifications in theology, a firm understanding of Reformed theology, the ability to interact with tertiary training institutions, and the capacity to work transnationally. However, there is also a deep awareness of the need to maintain a demographic balance in our senior staff at the Church Office in terms of gender representativity, race, and culture. Please carefully and prayerfully consider whether you are being called to this position, or whether God is placing someone else’s name in your heart for you to prompt in this direction. The deadline for applications has been extended to 31 March to allow for a greater spread of applicants for this crucial position in our denomination.
