“Jesus did not put the eternal fate of the human race in our incompetent ability to convince each other of our personal take on thousand year old stories and our personal theories on invisible beings.
But he did tell us that we are the light of the world, the “kingdom”
(God’s reality) is within us, the healing of the world is in our hands, with the hope of a love stronger than death, telling us to renounce violence, lay down our lives, bind up broken hearts, liberate captives, and be peacemakers.
Or in other words, participate in the restoration of all things and God’s reality being unveiled on Earth.”
