Reflection – 24 December 2020, by Rev Craig Morrison

Good morning Saints! πŸ₯°βœοΈ
Today on this Christmas Eve, we dare to remember: 🀱🏻 Unto us a child is born! Hallelujah!

Tell out my soul the greatness of the Lord;
Tender to me the promise of God’s word;
To children’s children forever more!

In all circumstances, Christ is Emmanuel.
Our hope abides in Christ. In season and out; in sickness and in health; in common with others or alone; with vaccine or without; Christ is our eternal reference point.
We trust in God, the horn of our salvation.

I pray that each of you will know the company of family and friends; the love of God that is deeper than the ocean; the presence of the Spirit that is nearer than our shadow; and the grace of Christ higher than Everest!

In the memorable words of Martin Luther King:
“This is what is meant by “Your kingdom come”:
You do not seek him; he seeks you.
You do not find him; he finds you.

A blessed Christmas to you all!
